Even still, the sequel managed to tell a tale that had incredible value and some of the best character development in games during that generation. With slashed resources and an unrealistic timeline imposed on the BioWare team by the publisher, Dragon Age 2 was rife with redundant areas, glitches, and a narrative that was much shorter than that of Dragon Age Origins.
